YouthTones is a student-powered nonprofit making music education more accessible and meaningful. Founded by high school musicians, we pair trained teen mentors with younger students for free or low-cost lessons in piano, violin, voice, and more.
We believe in the power of peer mentorship to build confidence, skills, and lasting connections. While younger students discover a love for music, our teen volunteers gain leadership experience and the joy of giving back.
Together, we’re creating a supportive community where young people uplift each other through music, one note at a time.
Our Mission
At YouthTones, we believe in the power of mentorship through music. Our mission is to make music education more accessible by connecting teen mentors with young learners in need of guidance, creativity, and support.
Founded by a group of high school musicians, YouthTones started with a simple idea: sharing what we love with others. Since then, we’ve grown into a community of volunteers dedicated to making music available to all.
